On December 21, 2021 the Ministry of Communications and Informatization of the Republic of Belarus will issue the stamp «25th anniversary of establishing diplomatic relations between the Republic of Belarus and Sovereign Military Hospitaller Order of Saint John of Jerusalem of Rhodes and of Malta». Н.Е. Prime Minister of the Republic of Belarus Roman Golovchenko signed a decree on its creation on December 10, 2021.

H.E. Minister of Communications and Informatization Konstantin Shulgan was appointed as the Chairman of the organizing committee.

The organizing committee included representatives of ministries, departments, associations and other organizations.

The created organizing committee was instructed to prepare and approve the concept of the XXVIII International Forum on Information and Communication Technologies TIBO-2022.

The Republic of Belarus is a state in the center of Europe with a population of more than 9 million 300 thousand people. It is located at the intersection of transport and information flows between the West and East, North and South of the Eurasian continent.

According to the Report of the Universal Postal Union on Postal Development in 2022, the Republic of Belarus ranked 13th among 172 countries with a total score of 75.10. This is one position higher than last year, when the country received a score of 67.4 points and 14th place among 168 countries.

The Republic of Belarus ranked the 16th place among the 132 countries in terms of the indicator "Access to ICT" according to the "Global Innovation Index 2021" published on September 20, 2021 by the World Intellectual Property Organization

Also, according to this "Global Innovation Index 2021" in terms of the indicator "Export of ICT services" (telecommunications, computer and information) in the total volume of foreign trade, the Republic of Belarus ranked the 11th place in the world.

Today, on September 21, the Minister of Communications and Informatization of the Republic of Belarus Konstantin Shulgan took part in the Partner2Connect Meeting, which was held as a side event of the 76th session of the UN General Assembly.

As a result of the Meeting, it was announced the launch of the Partner2Connect Digital Coalition, created to foster the implementation of projects in various countries of the world in order to develop telecommunications infrastructure and digital transformation.

One of the speakers of the meeting "Partner2Connect", organized within the frame of events "On the Road to Addis" will be the Minister of the Communications and Informatization of the Republic of Belarus /20.09.21 17.00
