The modernization of the country’s communication infrastructure continues, delivering benefits to the state, business, and each citizen.

Fixed Internet: speed and availability

• Beltelecom implements large-scale network development using GPON technology as part of the Digital Belarus State Program for 2026–2030.
• Over the last quarter, fiber-optic communication lines were connected to 23 settlements (each with at least 25 households).
• The number of GPON subscribers has reached 3.178 million (+19.5 thousand since the beginning of the year).
• More than 62% of fixed broadband access users already use the Internet at speeds of 100 Mbit/s or above.

Mobile network: coverage and quality

• Mobile operators actively upgrade 4G/5G networks, expanding their range of services, and introducing new service formats.
• Coverage of the territory of the Republic of Belarus:

  – UMTS: 98,6% of the territory / 99,9% of the population

  – LTE: 94,5% of the territory / 99,6% of the population

• Mobile bandwidth has increased by 14% compared to 2025.
• Wireless broadband penetration was 98.4 subscribers per 100 inhabitants.
