At present the postal market of the Republic of Belarus is fast growing. License for public postal services for forwarding of postal items and subscription to printed media and its delivery is provided to 31 postal operators, including 24 of them to forwarding of postal items, 7 to subscription to print media and its delivery.

The National (Belarusian) Postal Electronic System became prize winner in the annual PostEurop's (Association of European Public Postal Operators) Innovation Award Competition

In 2021 for the first time RUE «Belpochta» participated in the PostEurop’s Innovation Award Competition with project «The National Postal Electronic System» and awarded diploma for successful participation in the PostEurop Innovation Award 2021.

Purpose of Innovation Award is to foster innovation among PostEurop members in a consistent and continuous way, to demonstrate its advances and to exchange best practice in the field of innovations.

In February 2019, the International Telecommunication Union (ITU) Forum " Smart sustainable cities: technological trends, success stories and future prospects" was held in Minsk for the first time. The Forum was jointly organized by the International Telecommunication Union, the United Nations Human Settlements Programme (UN Habitat) and the United Nations Development Programme (UNDP) and OJSC "Giprosvjaz" with the support of the Ministry of Communication and Informatization of the Republic of Belarus.
