The training seminar of the International Telecommunication Union (ITU) "Informed digital development: exchange of experience in the field of collection, analysis and dissemination of statistics in the field of telecommunications/ICT" has started, which takes place from April 22 to 25 in Bishkek. Natalia Mochu, Regional Director of the ITU Regional Office for the CIS Region, welcomed the participants of the seminar. The seminar was organized by the ITU Regional Office for the CIS region in partnership with the Ministry of Digital Development and the National Statistics Service of the Kyrgyz Republic. Participants will get acquainted with the ICT indicators collected by ITU in the framework of annual questionnaires, national approaches and methodologies for data collection in other countries of the region/world and share practical experience in the collection, analysis and dissemination of telecommunication/ICT statistics. The ITU experts from Belarus are representatives of the Ministry of Communications and Informatization and the National Statistical Committee.
