Belarus ranked 22nd in terms of access to ICT among 132 countries of the world according to the Global Innovation Index for 2023. For reference: access to ICT is a composite index that assigns weight coefficients to 4 indicators (25% each): Percentage of the population covered by mobile networks (at least 3G, at least LTE/WiMAX); The number of mobile cellular subscribers per 100 residents; International Internet bandwidth (bps) per Internet user; The percentage of households with Internet access. According to the results of the first quarter of 2024, 99% of the population in Belarus is covered by the LTE (4G) mobile network.
