Belarus plans to sign an agreement with the Russian Federation on the recognition of electronic digital signatures in April

The intergovernmental agreement between Belarus and Russia on the procedure for recognizing an electronic signature (electronic digital signature) in an electronic document during cross-border electronic interaction is planned to be signed in April.

"Electronic documents are signed with an electronic digital signature. Everyone is used to the fact that this is a regular USB token, but don’t forget - SIM cards are also used. ID cards have also appeared for citizens, which are also a means of digital signature. In addition, yesterday the first deputy director The National Center for Electronic Services Andrey Filipenko confirmed that it is planned to introduce a cloud-based electronic digital signature by the end of 2025. This corresponds to the program documents. So we are waiting, this should really expand the use of digital signatures," said Pavel Tkach.
